The delegation impressed with Gujarat ’s development
and growth in infrastructural facilities
A delegation of four members of parliament of Canada led by senior parliamentarian Patrick Brown called on Chief Minister Narendra Modi today. The meet saw a fruitful discussion on strengthening the business and cultural ties between Gujarat and Canada .
Mentioning that Canada was the partner country in Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit Mr. Brown said the delegation is quite impressed with Gujarat ’s development and the growth in infrastructural facilities.
Chief Minister said that a large number of Indians including many Gujaratis have settled in Canada . There are great opportunities for Gujarat and Canada to mutually develop the education and human resource sectors. Today whenGujarat has carved a place for itself in the global tourism map, it is a good time for Canada to take advantage of it.Canada is also interested in the syllabus of Ayurveda University , chief minister added.
The delegation praised the state for initiating in associating with Canada ’s Georgia University for the development of tourism and hospitality sectors.
Those present on the occasion also include Canada ’s MPs Andrew Sexton, Gorde Brown and Devendra Shourie, Canadian office bearers and Secretary to Chief Minister A. K. Joti.
